Purchasing Coordinator – Your Job Duties
Purchasing Coordinator – You Have (Required Skills, Experience & Team Fit)
- Process high volume field orders with speed, urgency and accuracy
- Receive requests from field employees and coordinate vendor order placement
- Complete detailed data entry and system updates for all purchasing activity
- Ensure all orders are entered accurately, completely and same day
- Communicate with vendors regarding order details, status updates and follow up items
- Coordinate with field employees to gather missing information and resolve order discrepancies
- Prioritize multiple incoming requests while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Track purchasing activity and maintain organized records and documentation
- Identify and resolve order issues proactively to keep operations moving smoothly
- Support daily coordination between operations, vendors and the field team
Purchasing Coordinator – You Have (Required Skills, Experience & Team Fit)
- Prior experience working in purchasing or purchasing department
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to process large amounts of information accurately
- High sense of urgency and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast paced environment
- Comfort communicating with both field employees and external vendors throughout the day
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple moving parts simultaneously
- Confidence working in systems, processing data and handling repetitive transactional work accurately
- Bilingual Spanish speaking skills are appreciated but not required
