Project Engineer

Houston - Full Time

This is your opportunity to work alongside Project Managers and have a path to Project Manager (if you want it). You are more than just a number as our next Project Engineer (Entry Level)!

Project Engineer (Entry Level) – What You Will Do

You will support our team of Project Managers, from bidding and preconstruction through project management support to ensure the timely execution and coordination of projects.

You will:

  • Support and maintain data, information, communications, and approvals required by project and company requirements between owner, contractors/subcontractors, or other project-related entities.
  • Participate in and maintain document and project control systems and procedures.
  • Attend project meetings to include documentation, administration, and tracking of relevant information and statuses.
  • Obtain, track, and document contractor and subcontractor contractual requirements (and construction plans and specs) on areas of safety, performance, project staff, and equipment as directed by project manager.
  • Assist in project closeout procedures.

You will support multiple projects concurrently. You will work in the office and out in the field (estimated 70% of your time will be performed in the field or on job sites). No overnight travel.

Project Engineer (Entry Level) – Required Skills, Experience & Personality Fit

  • Comfort with working on site at a job site / travel throughout the Houston area to job sites
  • You enjoy communicating with many different people every day (you might even call yourself an extrovert!)
  • You have a high attention to detail and enjoy detailed work
  • Organization skills – you are a master at tracking many moving parts and keeping the team organized
  • An understanding of the construction life cycle from estimation/bid through project completion (you might have, not required)

Compensation $45,000 to $65,000 and additional bonus potential.

This role requires successful completion of a drug test, background check and clean driving record prior to start date.
